Tips For Going Vegetarian

Here are some great tips for going vegetarian, for those of you that are hesitating:

  1. Start by not eating meat every day.  Start having a few meatless days to help you get used to eating vegetarian meals.
  2. Write down some vegetarian meals that you like.  This way, you will have ideas for meal plans when you are stumped.
  3. Start stocking up on vegetarian items.  Include snacks as well as meals.
  4. Don’t substitute junk food for meat.  Instead, look for healthy vegetarian options.
  5. Spend some time in a health food store or health food section of your grocery store.  See all the options available for great vegetarian foods.
  6. Try out cooking different foods than you are used to – various vegetables and grains.

Follow these tips and you will be able to ease into a vegetarian diet very easily.
